Switching is a category decision, not a feature decision
The instinct when comparing two tools is to line up features and count. That method fails here, because these are not two products in one category — they are two categories with an overlapping calendar.
My Music Staff is a lesson platform. Its data model is built around students, lessons and tuition, and it is very good at all three. Music Shop Suite is a back-office system. Its data model is built around physical units, contracts and money across four income streams, with the lesson calendar as one of them.
So the real question is not which has more features. It is whether your business is a teaching studio that happens to own some instruments, or an instrument business that happens to teach. Almost every owner knows the answer immediately, and it predicts the right choice better than any comparison table can.
